Day 21; May 19: Time for laundry, paying the moorage bill and sending some mail. The morning was dry and reasonably sunny. The summary of the forecast is partly sunny, partly cloudy, and partly rainy each day. Ordered a prescription that has to be sent from home. We will see if it delays our travels.

Day 22; May 20: Washed the boat outside and cleaned inside. Watched folks on another boat build a wood and tarp shanty over the front of their boat.

Day 23; May 21: I got a voice mail the package arrived so we went up to the mall to get it along with looking around while places were open. Had lunch at Carolyn’s favorite Taco Time and then a final run for groceries. When we got back, we checked the weather and another gale force warning is in effect for this weekend. Have I mentioned that I don’t like the wind? Based on the forecast we either sit for another 5-7 days or change our plans. Instead of heading around Prince of Whales Island to Craig we will head toward Wrangell to stay out of the eye of the storm. Our entire trip in 23 we had 2 days that we stayed put due to wind, quite different this year.
