Day 94; Aug 1: A slow day, we did a few chores. Last night we had a crab and salad. Tonight, we had parmesan cheese noodles with shrimp and crab, Yum Yum

Day 95; Aug 2: Today we went to Walker Cove in Misty Fjords. It was about 48 miles with smooth water and sun a lot of the time. We cruised up to the end of Walker Cove and then back to the anchorage. The beauty of shear rock walls is really indescribable. The walls are thousands of feet high and the water is over a thousand feet deep. It makes you think you are only a little spec in these fjords.

Day 96; Aug 3: We went to Rudyerd Bay with the expectation to anchor in Punchbowl Cove. The forecast was for an inch of rain so we expected the clouds to be low and not able to see anything. Although, when we got there, we weren’t getting the rain and the clouds and fog was high enough that we could see the top of the mountains. At the end of the bay there is an inner bay that you get to through a 60’ wide passage. The inner bay is kind a like a cool hideout we had as kids. We went back to Punchbowl Cove and anchored and watched the rock wall that looks over the anchorage appear and disappear as the clouds moved through.

Day 97; Aug 4: Today we made our way to Bullhead Cove. The water was calm all day and we only had a few sprinkles all day. There are two other boats in the cove with us, a big sailboat with at least 7 aboard and a trawler that is near 70’ long.

Day 98; Aug 5: We decided to move on this morning and move down to Foggy Bay. The anchorage wasn’t as calm or scenic as we had hoped reading the reviews. As we exited the anchorage there were a couple whales outside feeding so our short journey was 20 minutes longer. Once we got to Foggy Bay it was vacant and calm as could be. A little later I put out a crab trap, we’ll see if crab like chicken one more time. The rain started and pretty much went all night long. We were joined by four other boats as the day went on. One of the boats is the one we signaled in Tracy Arm that an ice berg was headed for them, while anchored up.

Day 99; Aug 6: Got up early to watch the exit of our neighbors. Three boats were gone by 7 AM while the fourth waited until about 9. I got the crab trap a little before noon and there was no love, if it weren’t for the bait and mud, it was squeaky clean. The rest of the day was about ensuring things were put away for crossing Dixon entrance tomorrow.
