We walked the park a little today, staying in the improved areas. We were warned when we checked in that it has been a bad year for rattle snakes. Oh boy! Earlier we hired a guy that works at the KOA to take us to Palouse Falls State Park. The state waterfall is part of the Palouse River that dumps into the Snake. Cool area hidden by grass covered rolling hills until you are there. It is 100 degrees but a comfortable "81" inside. Since we don't have power here the generator is working overtime.
Tomorrow Little Goose Dam and to Boyer Park near Colfax.
Description of the falls from the KOA
That's pretty! Wouldn't have known it was there. I do not like the snake part. 😬 I do however like that you can rent a covered wagon to stay in! -Lynn
